1. Volcanoes begin deep inside the earth. Right inside the liquid core it is hotter than fire. Outside the core is the mantle. This is more solid, but still very hot. Around the mantle is the Earth’s crust with land and sea on top.
2.  Some volcanoes give warnings before they explode. Smoke comes from the top and nearby ground trembles. But some volcanoes stay quit and blow up very suddenly. Sometimes hot water is pumped to the surface by digging wells.         
3. Below the land and sea is the Earth’s crust. It is made of hug segments rock called plates. Sometimes magma is squeezed up between two plates. Then a volcano forms. Some volcanoes are not found near plate edges. They are made when magma comes up through hot spots where the crust is thinner.  

One hot summer’s day after lunch me and my class arranged a class party for sandy the otter. The next day it was time to party most of the people brought drinks and food. After lunch we had the party it was extremely fun we put songs on and we partied from 2pm to 3pm it was so fun. 

Two weeks ago our class did an endurance run which means we ran around our schools biggest area that is grass (called area seven). Our class ran two laps of area seven, next our teacher MrsP gave us our time and every week we had to beat our old time.

My class and I were doing this for the cross-country that is coming up next term and to get fit.

On Thursday the 20th of March Belmore South made a Crazy Hat and Hair Day, after recess we had a Crazy Hat and Hair Parade which is when we show off our Hats and Hair styles. Then we had an Easter Raffle when everyone had to give some Easter Chocolates, but to be in the raffle you would have to buy a Raffle ticket for twenty cents each. Twenty students won a prize from the Chocolate Raffle. One child from each class was selected with the best Hat or Hair style, if someone won they would win a prize.
