CROSS COUNTRY
On a Thursday some kids were chosen to represent our school at the Zone Cross Country carnival.
First we walked to the station, got a ticket and caught the train to Canterbury station.
After that we walked to Canterbury South Public School.
When we arrived we all ate a little and got ready for the races.
Then the races began.
Michael, Jayam and Hafiz made it to the Regional’s cross country.

Quite a basic recount Haley – I’m sure that the day was more exciting than this!
How did you feel before the race – were you nervous/worried/or confident?
How about while you were racing – did you get tired, was it a long way, what were your tactics?
After the race – were you pleased with your effort? were you tired/thirsty/happy/relieved?
What did you think while you were watching the other kids race? Would you like to represent your school again?
I know that you have much more to say about your experiences at the Carnival – why not share what you were thinking and feeling rather than just telling us what you did?
Please remember to get two friends to check your work before me (MrsP) BEFORE you publish your writing. 3 *** quality work always
