On the 13th of November was a lucky day because finally our school campers came back to school. But while they were having fun we were having fun.When they were at camp we made scoobys we did cooking sport and much more so we didnt miss out much while we were at school.

When the time was wright when they came back to school everyone was so excited they started to jump everywhere and running crazilyto the window waving to there freinds who had went to the 2008 Belmore South Public School Camping trip.

Today from the 10th of Noveber to the 13th of November our school stage three witch are in years five and year six are going on a fun three day camping trip to the National Park in Sydney Australia.At the camp they are going to do lots of fun things from sleeping to swimming but there is still way too much things for me to mention.You can visit some other peoples blog witch they will maybe have a post about there camping trip. Why is education important for all children?

Why is education important? Check the reasons below:

§Also if you had a pet you would be able to know what the animal was and know you should name the pet and how you should  take care of the pet

§Education is good because it will teach you how much money you should spend ,how much you should not and what you should spend it on

Did you know that the Space Shuttle Columbia Disaster had happend on Saturday the 1st of February 2003 and was the second Space Shuttle Disaster and the first shuttle lost on landing. There was shock around the world over the tragedy of the people who died on board.

The Space Shuttle Columbia was launched at January the 16th in 2003 at 9.39am . Columbia (Flight STS-107) was on a 16-day science research mission in Earth orbit which performed experiments in space.It was the 113th mission in space.The Space Shuttle Columbia was the oldest space shuttle in the crew of four. It was the first space shuttle to be launched in Earth orbit in the year 1981.

The crew of Space Shuttle Columbia had  7 astronauts:

- Rick D. Husband – Commander
 - William C. McCool – Pilot
 - Michael P. Anderson
 - David M. Brown
 - Kalpana Chawla
 - Laurel Clark
 - Ilan Ramon -

 The Space Shuttle Columbia had 7-8 minutes before the failure had happend, gauges started to loose readings in Columbia’s left wing, left landing gear brake system and tyre.

At 8am – All vehicle data was lost at 207,135 feet above the Earth at Mach 18.3 (about 12,500 mph) when the Columbia Space Shuttle broke up over north-central Texas. It was about 16 minutes prior to its scheduled landing at Florida’s Kennedy Space Center.

The last communication was from Houston ground control to Columbia commander Rick Husband was:

“To Columbia, here is Houston; we see your tyre pressure messages and we did not copy your last message.”

After a moment, Husband replied: “Roger but …”

After a short cracking noise, contact was lost. The Space Shuttle Columbia was scheduled to land at 8.16am.

There were several white trails of smoke seen coming from The Space Shuttle Columbia as it split up.

Residents in North Texas heard a loud boom.

Video of Columbia’s descent over Texas showed the shuttle breaking up upon reentry.

Initial reports were of small bits of debris spread in a wide area in Texas. Nasa advised people not to touch shuttle debris as the shuttle engines use highly toxic chemicals.

Because of the tragedy in an address to the nation on Saturday the 1st at 4.45, President George W. Bush had confirmed the space shuttle Columbia and its crew of seven were lost after the Orbiter broke up during reentry on its landing approach to the Kennedy Space Center in Texas.

THE THREE BROTHERS JOKE!!!

One day three brothers came to Australia from china to find out about Australia.Each brother wanted to go to a diffrent place.The eldest brother went to the opera house and learnt some words but the best word that he liked the most was the word me.So he kept on saying me.

The second brother wanted to work as a chef so he went to a restaurant to get a job.When he arrived he said can I have a job the manager said do you want to cut the carrots with the knife he said yeah knife and he learnt the word knife.

Then the third brother wanted to explore how do they play cricket so he went to watch a cricket match.Then everyone said,”yeah!”.So he learnt the word Yeah.

One week later, it was time to go back to China, but while they were lining up the security said who killed this man.Then the first brother said me then the security said with what did you kill him with then the second brother said knife after the security said your going to jail and the third brother said yeah.

The super speeder Sonic goes for gold against speedy Luigi in the most massive and most devastating  race of all time…….. THE EIGHT HUNDRED METRE RACE DANDANDANDAAAAN!!!!

Then suddenly the gun shooter says ON YOUR MARKS!!! GET SET!!!! AND LET THE 800M RACE BEGIN!!!!

Suddenly Sonic takes the lead because he used a jetpack and there was no disqualification. Then suddenly Luigi jumps on Sonics back. On the final lap

CSIRO

On Thursday the 14th of August 2008 the CSIRO came to our 

school. When they came it was fun and cool and we were especially learning.Did you know that we have about a million cellls and if  you smash our head you will brake one of those million cellls.That was cool and I even learnt that from the CSIRO. 

On a Thursday some kids were chosen to represent our school at the Zone Cross Country carnival.

First we walked to the station, got a ticket and caught the train to Canterbury station.

 After that we walked to Canterbury South Public School.

 When we arrived we all ate a little and got ready for the races.

Then the races began.

Michael, Jayam and Hafiz made it to the Regional’s cross country.
